Eli Singalovski is the 2019 winner of the Lauren and Mitchell Presser Photography Award for a Young Israeli Artist, awarded for the fifth time at Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Singalovski (born in 1984), a graduate of the Photography Department at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, lives and works in Germany. He has exhibited alone and in group exhibitions in galleries in Israel and abroad.
Singalovski was Born in St. Petersburg and moved to Israel at the age of 7. He received his B.F.A from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 2014, and he is currently an MA student at the HFBK, Hamburg.
His work has been showcased in solo and group exhibitions at various locations, including the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Tel Aviv, Israel; Feinberg Projects Gallery, Tel Aviv, Israel; The Negev Museum, Beer-Sheva, Israel; Berlin Art Week, Berlin, Germany; Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf, Germany; Haifa City Museum, Haifa, Israel; Litvak Contemporary Gallery, Tel Aviv, Israel. His works are also in various public and private collections worldwide, including The Tel Aviv Museum of Art, The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Israel; Ha’aretz Israeli Art Collection, Tel Aviv, Israel; The Rosetta Delug Collection, Los Angeles, California.
Singalovski has been the recipient of many awards and recognitions, amongst them are The Revital Seri Scholarship for Academic Excellence, Bezalel Academy, Israel; EPSON Award for excellence in the art of photography, Israel; Urban Landscapes prize, Photography Competition, The French Institute in Jerusalem.
Singalovski’s works are kept in collections worldwide including the Tel Aviv Museum of Art (Israel), the Israel Museum, Jerusalem (Israel), the Ha’aretz Art Collection (Israel); Rosetta Delug Collection (USA); Nurit Jaglom Collection.
